Little Man's Big Time

You know when you are two, you have pretty much done it all. So it is pretty rare that you would have three new expreiences in one week. And yet Thor has made the most of these opportunities.

June 22 Thor went to the Dentist for the first time. While I was getting my teeth cleaned he checked out all the equipment and even pushed the button on the xray machine to take "pictures" of my teeth. He thought it was all very neat, even taking a ride on the chair, UNTIL it was his turn. Thor hates having his teeth brushed, he hates people messing in his mouth. Dr. Lukan was able to count his teeth and they all looked good but that was pretty much it. He did get to pick a prize from the "good boy box" and selected a blue and pink bouncy ball. He showed it to his brothers that night by bouncing it off them. I am hanging on to the ball for him for now.

June 26th was a HUGE day in our house. Our friend Amy came and stayed with the little boys while Thor and Dave and I went to see Toy Story 3. Thor went dressed as Sheriff Woody, complete with hat, Woody Shirt, shorts, and cowboy boots. This was the first movie that he has been to for him (when he was an infant he slept through a movie in the theater). He loved it, the popcorn, the big screen, and of course, his favorite characters. For those of you who haven't seen it the premise is that Andy grows up and goes to college and what happens to his toys. I cried and cried and cried. Dave and Thor made sure there was a seat between me and them. Thor had a great time and we went to his favorite restaurant, Taco Johns, for lunch after.

And then finally last Friday, Scooter had a groomers appointment. Scooter gets groomed right next to Krispy Kreme. And so after dropping him off I picked up a box and brought Thor his very first Krispy Kreme. He at part of two and then the rest of them that evening. He has determined after much deliberation that donuts are "mmmm, good as cake Mommy." High praise.

Now on to the next adventure...
